About me

Hi, I am Thomas.

As an information specialist, I work as Head of Library at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity in Göttingen. I am passionate about advancing open science and supporting researchers throughout their research process.

I obtained a PhD in Latin American history after studying history and economics. My studies have given me a strong connection to the Spanish-speaking world, yet I also feel very much at home in London.

Outside work, I enjoy films, exploring new places, and a cup of black coffee.

On Bluesky and on Mastodon, I post about library topics and other subjects.

You can also find me on Linkedin.

Please visit ORCID for more information about my professional profile.

On this website, I document my discoveries, such as books I have read, films I have watched, places I have explored through photography, and insights on library-related topics.
